Join in to share the love #ForAccessibleHomes this month
We’re excited to be preparing for our annual #ForAccessibleHomes week from 14 to 18 September 2020 and we’d love you to take part.
Inclusive, accessible and adaptable homes are great for everyone, allowing us all to enjoy our homes throughout as our needs, and the needs of those we care about, change over time. Habinteg have been providing and promoting accessible homes in inclusive developments for 50 years and 2020 also marks our fifth #ForAccessibleHomes campaign week, raising awareness about the benefits and importance of accessible and adaptable homes.
Since everyone has had to spend a lot of time at home during Covid-19 lockdown we’ve decided to give this year’s campaign week a lockdown theme.
What’s your accessible ‘lockdown love’?
This #ForAccessibleHomes week, we're asking you to share the love of your accessible home via a photo or short video clip of the feature that meant most to you during lockdown. It could be the step-free access to your garden where you were able to escape, or your accessible oven which you used to bake lockdown treats. Your ‘lockdown love’ is simply any feature of your home that you loved most during lockdown.
Once you’ve captured your photo or video simply upload it to your own twitter account if you have one or send it to us at the Habinteg Communications team on comms@habinteg.org.uk and we’ll share it for you on the Habinteg twitter feed.
