We aim to make our finances clear, transparent and accountable. Our Finance Team supports the business by building knowledge, confidence and accountability.

Each year our accounts are independently audited and formally approved by our Board. Our auditors have given us an unqualified opinion, meaning you can have full assurance that our financial accounts are accurate and reliable.

Value for money

We believe that achieving value for money is about doing the right things, doing them well first time, and doing them at the right cost.

We are committed to delivering value for our tenants and business. This is not about doing things in the cheapest way, it’s about achieving more with our resources, ensuring our services continually improve, and clearly demonstrating the wide-ranging positive impact achieved from our activities.

We know that all these aspects of value for money are important to our tenants, partners and other stakeholders. Our value for money strategy sets out how we will achieve value, measure outcomes and report on the progress towards our goals.

Procurement

Procuring goods and services is a key component of ensuring value for money. To ensure compliance and strong commercial practice, Habinteg is supported by joint venture partner Shared Services for Housing (SSfH) who works with us internally.
