HabFix Phase 2 update

Phase two of our HabFix repairs project is now in full swing and we’re pleased to say we’ll still be able to visit your scheme to carry out non-emergency repairs under the Government’s recently updated COVID-19 guidance.

As the health and safety of tenants, staff and contractors is our number one priority, all contractors are expected to wear appropriate protective clothing when working inside Habinteg properties and follow social distancing measures.

As a minimum, if a contractor needs to enter your home to carry out a repair, they will wear a face covering and gloves.

When will HabFix be visiting my scheme?

You can find out when the HabFix team will be visiting your scheme on our HabFix scheme timetable. You can locate your scheme by region, or by pressing Ctrl + F in the document and searching for your area.

You will receive a call from us to find out what non-emergency repairs need completing. Or, if you prefer, you can let us know about your repair through the report a repair form on our website. You’ll need to allow at least seven days from us receiving your repair form to a contractor arriving at your home. This is to ensure they arrive prepared for the work that needs doing on the day.

If you need to report a repair less than 7 days before your scheme’s HabFix day, please complete our report a repair form, and it will be logged and dealt with after the HabFix day.

What should I do if I have Covid-19 or symptoms?

If you’re self-isolating because you have Covid-19 or have Covid-19 symptoms (and are awaiting testing) please contact your Neighbourhood Co-ordinator or call Habinteg Direct to let us know.

If you have any questions about HabFix, please contact Habinteg Direct.
