We know that there are lots of green-fingered Habinteg tenants across the country, so we thought ‘What better way to celebrate National Gardening Week than to run our very own garden competition?’

National Gardening Week runs from 1-7 May, and this year it’s encouraging everyone to celebrate King Charles’ coronation by creating colourful coronation containers.

Celebrating creative diversity

We know that not everyone has a garden, but we won’t let that stop us from celebrating the creative diversity that exists within the Habinteg community.

So, if you’ve been getting outside and planting arrangements that you’re proud of, we’d love to see it.

Send us your favourite photos of your garden, or your loved flower bed, hanging basket or container arrangement, and you could be in with a chance of being crowned Habinteg’s 2023 Garden Competition winner.

Prizes

First prize is a £100 National Garden gift card for you to spend on that new garden feature or plant pot you’ve always wanted. There are also two runner-up prizes of £60 and £30 gift cards.

How to enter

To enter, simply email up to three of your favourite photographs to comms@habinteg.org.uk. Mark your email ‘Habinteg’s 2023 Garden Competition’ and be sure to include your full name and address.

Don’t worry if you don’t have an email address, you can also post your entry including your name, address and telephone number to:

All entries must be received by Friday 9 June 2023.

A few rules

This competition is open to Habinteg tenants only, and your entry must be a photograph of your own or scheme garden. Please do not send more than three photographs, as a maximum of three photos will be judged.

We’ll be announcing the winner of our Habinteg 2023 Garden Competition in our July bulletin.
