New lift for Epworth residents

As part of Habinteg’s Improvement Programme, our Epworth scheme in Islington, North London, has had a lift upgrade .
Tenants agree that the new lift will be more reliable, and much smarter than the old one.

“The first completed lift looks amazing.” said Project Delivery Surveyor, Collette Williams, “I took a ride to the top floor and was very impressed with my smooth and short journey”.

Work on the second lift is currently underway and is expected to be completed in March.

The windows in the scheme’s communal areas were also upgraded last October.

Improvements around the country

The Improvements Programme is nationwide and includes plans for work at properties in every region. So far, the following upgrades and improvements have been made on schemes.

Bathrooms and Kitchens- Hemlington (North Yorkshire), The Firs (West Midlands)- bathrooms, Moira Close (North London), Copperfield Drive (South London), Gloucester Drive (North London)
Windows and Doors- Moira Close (North London), Copperfield Drive (South London)

If we’re planning to work on a lift or other major aspect of scheme we’ll let you know beforehand when the work will take place, and consult you about any changes or periods of downtime before works start.
