From the beginning of March our repairs and safety teams will be changing to help improve how we provide services to tenants.
Here’s a look at the changes we’re putting in place to improve your services.
Changes to our repairs service
We know that completing repairs quickly and efficiently is very important to you. In our 2021 Shaping our Future online survey 84% of you told us that you wanted repair works to be completed ‘right on the first visit’ as a top priority.
To help deliver this, we’ve changed the structure of the team and introduced two new posts to our repairs service area. These changes will help us to improve the way we manage our contractors and the quality of service and work they provide. So we get more repairs right-first-time, and you get a better service.
Refreshing the compliance team
Our Compliance team oversees gas, electrical and fire safety and ensures Habinteg’s buildings are safe and compliant. The team will now be called the Customer and Building Safety Team to better reflect the services it provides.
We’ll also be introducing some new roles to the Customer and Building Safety Team who will proactively engage with tenants about staying safe in their homes.
We’ve also implemented a digital compliance management system to help the team to work more efficiently.
New and improved teams
We hope that you’ll be excited to see these changes put in place and that they will improve your safety and satisfaction in the way we deliver our repairs and maintenance services.
Speaking about the new changes Michael Vickers, Head of Asset Management said:
“We want to provide tenants with excellent services so that they’re happy with the services they are getting from us. I have been working with the teams to look at what works and doesn’t work well, and what changes we can put in place to ensure that these areas meet your expectations. I hope that like Habinteg staff, you will see these changes as a positive move and will soon start to see the benefits.”
