Habinteg’s Scrutiny Panel needs you!

Are you passionate about tenants having a voice? Want to challenge how Habinteg performs?

The Habinteg Scrutiny Panel gives tenants the opportunity to examine and challenge the way Habinteg delivers services to tenants.  It’s made up of 6-8 members including an elected chair.

The panel is responsible for examining and scrutinising different areas of Habinteg’s services.  

You will help us to:

  • Put tenants at the heart of everything that we do.
  • Examine the services we provide to tenants
  • Measure, test, monitor, and review our service delivery processes,
  • Ensure that we are effective, efficient, and economical in all we do
  • Make recommendations for service improvements directly to our Board.

No formal qualifications are required to become a member of the panel as full training will be provided by Habinteg.

What’s involved:

  • Specialist tenant scrutiny training and development
  • Up to six meetings per year
  • Activities in between meetings – reading information, forming opinions and giving feedback via email or telephone
  • Undertaking occasional site visits and shadowing of services
