Building together is important: help write Habinteg's next chapter

Tenants, we’d really appreciate your help with the development of Habinteg’s next four year plan.

As part of our Building Together consultation, please tell us what you think about our services, homes and neighbourhoods by completing this short survey now.

As a thank you for completing the survey, we’ll be holding a shopping voucher prize draw in the first week of October when three tenants will be randomly drawn for a first prize of £100, second prize of £50 and a third prize of £25.

We will be gathering feedback and opinions from as many of you (and our staff) as possible to help us pinpoint important themes for our new plan, right up until early autumn this year. Building this plan together is vital to ensure we focus on the right things.

The Building Together consultation will include:

  • Listening Events: The next Listening Events will take place in November 2025. Please join us then to hear about priorities emerging from the consultation and you’ll have the opportunity to provide additional feedback.

We’ll also review information previously gathered from involved tenants during past Listening Events, scrutiny reviews, Tenant Satisfaction Measures results, scheme surveys and local scheme meetings.

We’ll present your priorities and themes to the Board and JSIG - which includes engaged tenants and Board members in late October 2025 to make sure that it informs our upcoming plans.

Your views make a difference

Past input from Habinteg tenants has made a significant impact on our priorities for improvement. For example the following a Tenant Scrutiny Panel review of repairs and maintenance, five of 13 tenant recommendations have already been put in place resulting in:

  •         Faster repair completion times
  •         Better contractor accountability
  •         Improved communication in the new repairs contract specification
  •       Tenant being involved in the recruitment of repairs contractors.

And, following two tenant focus groups in 2024, changes have been made to the Tenant Portal, including:

  •   A new button on the home page to make the Portal clearer to tenants
  •   Having service charge breakdowns available via the Portal
  •   A new portal landing page.

So, please, take five minutes to tell us what you think now and help shape the services we provide to you, the homes we build and your neighbourhood – complete and submit the survey now.
