There’s not long left to apply for money from the Tenant Led Improvement Budget.

While many tenants are already enjoying improvements to their schemes, courtesy of the budget, there is still money available in the current budget until 31 March 2022.

The budget is a pot of money tenants can access to make improvements to their scheme such as new lighting, a new bench, or tidying up a communal garden area. How the money is spent is up to you.

The budget is our way of empowering tenants to take the lead on improvements within their immediate community.

Scheme improvements

That is exactly what tenants at one of our schemes in Balham, southwest London did. Delivery drivers, tradespeople and visitors often struggled to find the right building.

With the help and support of Neighbourhood Co‑ordinator, Yvette Alexandratos, tenants got their building signage improved, making it much easier to find for delivery drivers and visitors. Many thanks to Kevin Cusack (pictured above, outside the Balham scheme) for sending this story to us.

How to apply?

Applying for the Tenant Led Improvement Budget is straightforward.

All you need to do is discuss your ideas with your Neighbourhood Manager, complete the form and submit it.
