Announcing the winner of our 2021 Garden Competition
Big thanks to the many tenants who entered our Garden Competition, which aimed to celebrate the creative diversity of our nationwide community and showcase the prettiest Habinteg gardens.
It’s fair to say this wasn’t the easiest of competitions to judge as there are lots of green-fingered tenants out there.
And the winner is…
We’re pleased to announce that John Sadler from our Devonshire Avenue scheme in Leeds, is the winner of our 2021 Garden Competition!
John wins a £60 National Garden gift card, which can be used to purchase gardening products at thousands of outlets across the UK.
The Editorial Panel were amazed by the landscaped and manicured spaces in John’s garden.
Speaking on behalf of the judging team, Sampson Willoughby said: “For us this garden brought the wow factor. It was nicely landscaped and we loved the finish and the attention to detail. They’ve used the space they have well and for that reason, we thought they were worthy winners.”

The panel were equally blown away by the plant and floral displays from entrants with gardens of all different shapes and sizes.
Runner ups
Runner up prizes of a £30 National Garden gift card goes to Barbara Dixon from our Stantonbury scheme in Milton Keynes, and Stephen Hynes from our Hemlington scheme in Middlesbrough, who wins a £20 National Garden gift card.
