Habinteg passes Stability Check by the Regulator of Social Housing

The Regulator of Social Housing has reconfirmed Habinteg’s Governance grade of G1 and a Viability grade of V1 after conducting its annual stability check - this means that we meet the regulator’s governance requirements and have the financial ability to deal with any adverse business events.

What is a Stability Check?

The Stability Check is carried out every year on all private registered housing providers that own 1,000 or more properties.

It's essentially a financial health check where the regulator makes an assessment of a housing provider's most recent business plan and annual accounts to ensure that it is in good shape to deliver its plan.

An effective organisation

The Stability Check also allows the regulator to assess Habinteg's ability to meet the requirements of the Value for Money Standard, which includes demonstrating a detailed approach to achieving value for money across the whole business.

We’re proud to say that we also passed this, which means we are deemed a ‘value for money’ organisation.

In a time where everything seems so changeable, it’s encouraging that our work to ensure Habinteg continues to run efficiently and effectively has been acknowledged.
