Habinteg appoints new Director of Housing and Assets
Habinteg Housing Association has appointed Nic Bungay as its Director of Housing and Assets.
In this new role, Nic Bungay will help Habinteg to deliver its ambitious five-year strategy. In previous roles, he was Habinteg’s Director of Strategy and External Affairs for two and a half years before becoming Interim Director of Operations in August 2021. He brings over 15 years’ experience in the charity sector, including seven years as a Director at Muscular Dystrophy UK.
Nic Bungay said: “The most valuable lessons I’ve learned at Habinteg have been through the conversations I have had with our customers. I want us to build on that principle, developing a culture of personal contact with our tenants. There are huge changes taking place across the housing sector. We need to engage our tenants better and consult with them so that we’re doing what’s best at every step.”
