In January 2020 we’ll be sending a survey to all of our tenants, to find out how you feel about our services.
Your feedback is really important to us and the tenant survey is a great opportunity to make your voice heard. We want to hear from as many tenants as possible to get a good picture of how you feel about Habinteg, our services and your home. We’ll use the information from the survey to improve our services.
Most of you will receive the survey through the post. If you have told us that you require communications in alternative formats, BMG Research will give you a call to invite you to feed back.
Your participation will be greatly appreciated and as a thank you, all completed surveys will be entered into a prize draw to win up to £250 worth of high street vouchers. There are three prizes to be won: £250, £150 and £50 vouchers.
The survey will be hitting mats on the week beginning Monday 13 January and will need to be returned by Friday 31 January. If you have any questions about the survey please contact us.

Why is this survey being run?
The survey is being run to capture tenants’ views on a number of areas of the service provided by Habinteg. The results of the survey will be used to inform future decision making, with the overall aim of improving tenants’ quality of life.
What is the survey about?
The survey is about various aspects of the service that Habinteg provides, such as your experiences when contacting Habinteg, how you would prefer to communicate with and receive information from Habinteg, your experiences of the repairs service, and your satisfaction with the support provided by Habinteg.
Do I have to take part?
The survey is voluntary, so no one is obliged to take part. However, taking the time to complete the survey will help Habinteg to better understand the views of their customers and what improvements might be needed in the future.
As a thank you for taking part, Habinteg are offering a prize draw with 27 prizes of shopping vouchers - one worth £250, one £150, five £50, ten £20, and ten £10.
What will you do with my responses?
Survey responses will remain confidential and secure. This means the individual’s views will never be identified, unless you agree in the questionnaire that you would like to pass back your responses in the ‘Background Information’ section giving details of your age, ethnicity, disability (if any) etc. for Habinteg to update their records. If you agree to this, this information will be used by Habinteg to update their records whilst your other responses will remain confidential and secure.
Who are BMG Research?
BMG Research are an independent research company and have been chosen by Habinteg to run this survey. BMG will run the surveys and provide confidential results. BMG fully abides by the Market Research Society Code of Conduct.
Why have I not received a questionnaire?
All households will be sent a questionnaire by post, or by email if you have provided an email address - so please check your junk mail. The only exceptions to this are if a member of the household is recorded as preferring non-visual communication (e.g. Braille) in which case an interviewer from BMG will call in due course to invite them to participate in a telephone interview with the same questions as the postal survey.
I don’t understand a question, what should I do?
It is fine to leave a question blank if you want to. Alternatively, there is a freephone BMG Research helpline which you can call for assistance. This helpline is 0800 358 0337.
When is the survey deadline?
Reminders will be sent throughout the survey period, but the final deadline for returns will be 31st January.
