This autumn we’re working on Habinteg’s next five year plan, Towards 2026, and, importantly we need input from tenants to set our new priorities and direction.
There are three easy ways to get involved:
Our Listening Day on Saturday 18 September was a chance for tenants to share their views with Habinteg staff

Tenant Listening Day
The Listening day was organised into themed sessions and covered everything from repairs to communications.
The day was a chance for tenants to share their views, which will help us set Habinteg’s future priorities.
Each session involved a short update from a lead member of staff, and tenants had the chance to ask questions and tell us their views in a chaired discussion.
The sessions were:
Online survey and freepost postcard
An online tenant survey will also run from August to October to gather the views of tenants. Those who complete the survey will be in with a chance to win a £250 shopping voucher as well as other runner-up prizes.
Survey questions will centre on what tenants think Habinteg is doing well, what they would like to see more of and what they would like to see included as part of Towards 2026.
Tenants who were unable to attend the Listening Day or complete the survey will have the opportunity to send their improvement ideas in on the freepost postcard enclosed within the next edition of the Update newsletter.
Nick Apetroaie, CEO of Habinteg, says: “Ever since joining Habinteg earlier this year, it’s been a priority of mine to ensure our future plans are shaped by our tenants. The Shaping our Future programme is a chance for us to place tenants at the centre of our organisation and improve our services based on their views and opinions.”
Urva Yogini, Habinteg tenant and Editorial Panel member, adds: “It’s important that Habinteg staff and tenants work together when it comes to improving services. Being able to provide my opinion on how Habinteg is run reassures me that my views are valued.”
If you have any additional questions about the Shaping our future project, please speak to your local neighbourhood staff or contact Habinteg's tenant engagement officer Tracy Jagger on tjagger@habinteg.org.uk.
