Today the Prime Minister announced that all Covid-19 restrictions will be removed as of 19 July.
We are very pleased that this means that Habinteg staff can get out to our schemes more and we are looking forward to meeting with tenants for scheme walkabouts and other meetings.
We understand that many of you will still be concerned about Covid-19 and may want to continue with some measures to protect yourself and your loved ones. We also know that cases are on the rise.
So we have decided that for the time being all Habinteg staff will wear a face covering and maintain social distance when meeting with tenants, contractors and other staff members. This will help us to keep each other safe and to minimise the chances of further impact on our services.

What you can expect from contractors
Our contractors will also continue to use PPE and keep their distance from tenants and staff whilst working on scheme until at least the end of August.
Please continue to report repairs via our online repairs form in the first instance. We hope that this next phase of the Covid roadmap will go smoothly however we’ll be keeping in close contact with our contractors to keep an eye on their staffing levels as restrictions are eased. And as we have done throughout the pandemic, we’ll keep you updated through this news feed if there is likely to be any disruption to our service.
