Despite the Covid-19 pandemic and its restrictions, in the last year we’re pleased to have completed all urgent and routine repairs with a few changes to our usual timeframes.
In the meantime, all health and safety and compliance work, such as electrical testing and gas servicing, will continue as normal.
Here’s a quick reminder of our current repairs service and what you should do if you need to request a repair. If you’re unsure which category your repair falls into you can check it in our repairs guide.
Emergency repairs are our highest priority and we expect to be able to attend to these within the usual 24 hour turnaround time.
Please report emergency repairs by phone to Habinteg Direct so that we can deal with them promptly.
Call 0300 365 3100 (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm) or use our out of hours service on 0345 601 3389 at all other times.
We aim to complete urgent repairs within five working days. If our contractor is unable to complete repairs in this timeframe, they will make an appointment with you for your repair and keep you informed of any changes.
We strive to complete routine repairs within 20 working days. There may still be occasions when due to contractor staffing issues they are not able to complete the work within this timeframe, the contractor will make an appointment with you for your repair and keep you informed of any changes.
What’s the best way to report my repair?
Please report routine or urgent repairs using our online repairs form if you are able. This will help us keep the telephone service available for emergencies, and for customers who can’t report online.
If you do need to phone us, please be mindful that it might take longer than usual to get through to our Customer Services Team, at the moment. This is because the team are still working at home in line with Government guidance and we’re receiving more calls than usual.
