We have recently finalised our tenant involvement compact, but what exactly is one?
A compact is an agreement between a housing association and their tenants, setting out:
how tenants can get involved in decisions on housing matters which affect them
what housing associations and tenants want to achieve through participation, such as better ways of working together, improving services or a better quality of life
how the compact will be implemented and checked to make sure it is working properly.
