We aim to influence UK housing policy and planning, with the objectives of creating more housing opportunities for disabled people, improving the provision of good quality, well designed homes for everyone and assisting people of all ages to achieve and maintain independent living.
To these ends, we work with central and regional government and with individual local authorities that want to develop their own policies and good practice. We also form alliances with campaigning voluntary organisations to lobby for amendments to proposed legislation or the introduction of new or revised policies.
