Policy and Research

The aims of our policy and research work are:

• To influence policy and promote good practice in relation to inclusive, accessible housing and independent living for disabled people;
• To provide and strengthen research expertise and guidance on all aspects of housing and disability;
• To inform the development of new ventures in areas such as: Housing options and advice; supply of accessible homes; inclusive design in housing and neighbourhoods; effective home adaptations; support to individuals and families; and disability equality and awareness.
