You can now view your rent account online using Habinteg's online rent account. This will help to monitor your rent payments. You can then pay your rent in the following ways:
- Pay your rent online
- Direct Debit
- Pay by telephone (24hrs)
- Pay by telephone (Habinteg Direct) using direct debit or credit card
- Pay using your Habinteg payment card
- Pay by standing order or bank transfer
- Pay by post or postal order
Direct Debits is an easy and efficient way of paying your rent. The service is paperless and can be set up quite quickly, saving on time and administration. The system will automatically verify your bank account details to reduce the chance of incorrect data and reduce delays in processing your rent payments.
Direct Debits are now available to all tenants who would like to pay their rent by this method. You can set up a Direct Debit quickly and easily over the phone by calling Habinteg Direct.
Tenants who currently pay by standing order should have been offered the opportunity to change their payment method to Direct Debit, usually by letter, as Direct Debits offer a more efficient payment process.
Payments by Direct Debit will appear on your bank statements as ‘Habinteg HA – Rents’.
We will give you advance notice (usually 14 days) of changes to your future Direct Debit rent payments, for example, if your rent payment is to increase.
This is an automated facility for making your rent payments over the telephone. The system uses an Interactive Voice Response Technology (where you talk or type into the phone) to enable you to make rent payments over the telephone any time of the day, throughout the year. To make a payment, all you need is your Habinteg payment card along with your debit or credit card.
This method of payment is quick, secure and convenient way of making your rent payments via the internet. You will need your Habinteg payment card and a debit/credit card.
You can do this by telephoning Habinteg Direct, quoting your Habinteg payment card number and your credit or debit card details, and we will process your rent payment.
If you do not have an allpay card number, then contact us at Habinteg Direct. We can get you a new card within 4 working days.
You can use your Habinteg payment card at most Post Offices or any other Paypoint outlet. See Allpay paypoint outlets for your nearest outlet.
Transactions only take 24 hours to reach your rent account. All you need is your payment card and payment. You will be given a receipt for proof of your payment and we recommend that you keep your receipts.
If you lose the card, report it to us by phoning Habinteg Direct and we will send you a new card within 4 working days.
